So there's some internet guy attempting to scam me right now. I need your help deciding what I should do with him.
As many of you know, I run a test prep/tutoring company to make ends meet when I'm not getting paid for writing (80% of the time). A couple weeks ago I got an email from a guy saying he wanted to hire a tutor to help his son with "The Maths". The email was a bit strange, but I gave him the benefit of the doubt, told him our rates, etc. It was around the third or fourth email, when he started making references to "I need to complete the sale of some farm equipment before the funds will become available", "I live in Wales but my son will be transporting to your location via aeroplane", and "I will send you the funds by certified cheque, plus $100 additional, if you can Western Union me $75 to cover the transfer free" that I knew for sure I would not be helping his son with "The Maths."
I could simply ignore him. But that's not really my style. I thought maybe I could have some fun with him first. I have his email and address and a few ideas, but I need your input, reader. What should I do with my scammer? One of the below... or something much more creative? Do let me know.
